Monday was a down day.
Tuesday morning it was suggested we go out for breakfast. O9:55 on the road following great breakfast at Chubby's. Jerry and I had the special, 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2. Bacon and 2 biscuits and gravy, my caloric intake for the day. All for $3.99!
Some 5 miles west of Pecos, TX Carol noticed the low fuel light was lit. "Should we go back." she asked. "No need to." I replied, confident that there would be an exit just ahead with plenty of gas stations to chose from. Forty-two, sweaty miles later we gassed up.
